Cardiac Arrhythmia Tehnician- Direct Placement, FULL TIME!

Maxim Healthcare services is searching for Cardiac Arrhythmia Technician to fill a direct placement contract! We are open to considering candidates right out of device training school.
MUST HAVE:
-Associate Degree (any field)-Prior experience in the interrogation/programming of devices (pacemakers or implantable cardioverter-defrbrillators)-IBHRE Certification or able to get within a year of hireWe are looking to fill this position as soon as possible, so if you or someone you know may be interested, please contact Karly at email removed !!!Responsibilities include:
o Identify normal and abnormal EKG rhythm pattern.
o Assess and document EKG rhythm abnormalities.
Notify appropriate healthcare professional in a timely manner.
o Place patients on monitoring system according to facility's policy and procedures.
o Promote interpersonal relations with all contactso Other duties as assignedQualifications include:
o Current Monitor Technician certification.
o Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
o Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
o Prefer one year of monitor technician acute care hospital clinical experience within the last three years.
o Current CPR card.
o Current PPD or Chest x-Ray.
o Successful completion of Maxim screening test with a score of 80% or greater.
