Our client, located in La Porte, IN is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant for a 2 month contract position. In this role, you will assist the Quality Manager in maintaining the quality management system, procedures, documents and customer specific requirements to provide quality products and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include:
Assist in PPAP submissions
Assist in Quality Management System Certification updates, audits and corrective actions
Perform calibration of machines, measurement tools, gages, etc. Enter and update calibration in Gage Trak System
Assist in Gage R & R for each type of gage used at facility
Conduct internal audits
PCS, MSA, Dimensional and use of CM
Update Inspection Standards
Understand FMEA?s and Control Plans
3 years Automotive Quality and CMM experience preferred
